The Achura value intelligence more than anything else, and although their decent Perception and Willpower proves that they belong with the Caldari race, their main interests tend to lie in science rather than combat.
They are not great traders and are hindered with regard to agents or corporate management due to their low Charisma score, but put them in front of some blueprints and watch them go.
Early on, they will be able to defend their resources and make the ISK they need. Late game, you'll probably want to join a science oriented corporation and take advantage of their trade abilities. Just don't depend on running missions for your main source of income.
