Charisma and Perception are the high stats for the Gallente, which means you're going to have to pump points into either Memory or Willpower, depending on which direction you want to take your character.
You start with decent Navigation and Social, thanks to the six in Intelligence, so you can use that to get your bearings and make ISK in agent missions while you figure out if you like combat or trade better.
The Drones skill can keep you safe while you figure it out. Either way you go, you won't be bad at the other side either, which makes the Gallente ideal for someone wanting to run a combat centered corporation.
