Information traders are a very difficult choice to play, meant only for the very social and crafty individual who can obtain secrets from either side of a conflict and then sell that information at high cost and hopefully without getting a bounty placed on your head.
This requires skill, confidence and a willingness to lose a lot of ships. If you're planning on becoming a trader, courier missions from both agents and players will help you on your way, as well as sometimes tell you where the trade routes are. Watch the market carefully and buy and sell wisely, and soon you'll see why most everybody does a little trading on the side at least. |
